Back in NZ already!

We made it!

12 days in Vietnam and now we're back here alive, safe, darker and FATTER in Sydney =)! I've had the most extraordinary experiences the past two weeks and I can't wait to go again!

The final few days of our trip, I finally got to meet my Grandmother (Mum's) and stayed with my aunties for two nights. The place was quite nice compared to the surrounding residents - 3 storeys high.

Can you believe I’m back in NZ already?! Had a quick catch up session with the girls on the weekend on my return from Vietnam and straight away – I’m back to NZ again. Gosh! =P

I really don’t want to be here right now. I’m tired, lonely and I miss my family and I miss all of you guys in Sydney.

Oooo my Dad is also getting married in a month and I’ve been chosen to be one of the bridesmaids (along with Pandora and Sis). Can you believe it?! How exciting! Spent Sunday shopping round for a dress and decided on Baby Pink dresses for all of us. Haha – how typical! =) It sorta looks like this but without the straps. We look really cute when all of us is wearing it.

Oh and the biggest news of all – Peter and I are back together now. Which is another reason why I want to stay back in Syd! After a long conversation and a whole 2 months of pondering – I decided to go with how I really feel and just “Go with the flow”. I care about him deeply and I can’t imagine being with anyone else but him at the moment. So if we’re both happy together – then I shouldn’t think too far and just let it be.

I also met Truccie in Vietnam and we caught up for lunch before I headed back to the airport. I miss her already and I hope she’s having a blast. Speaking of Vietnam – I have soooo many photos to upload. Y’know I ended up taking 2000 – yes that’s 2000 photos all up! Haha – sooo SnApPy HaPpY! Hahahaha – so I need to pick the ones that are really nice and will upload them soon. I’ve decided against ‘writing’ about my whole trip and will let my photos do the story-telling instead =)

Truccie and Me in Vietnam - Yay! =)

My grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins were the bomb! They reminded me of Vietnam versions of my parents (weird I know) and we were really sad to say goodbye to all of em. Wish we could have stayed longer =) Even though Vietnam was super dirty and ‘dodgy’ at times – I really liked it!! Hehe (hmms..wonder if that says something about me – haha)

Me, Sis, Grandmother, Grandfather (Dad's side of the family)

My cousins, me and sis (Yes that's me in a "I LOVE BOYS" Tee)

Ok this blogging is making me feel better – starting to make me forget about not wanting to be here. Justine is here with me this week – which is good! I’ll have a lunch/dinner buddy for the week – Yay! It’s gonna be so weird without Adrian here - hope all is well in his new role at NAB (*cough*TRAITOR*cough* haha)

Missing you all lots

Jenn

Well I'm tired, lonely and missing friends n family down in the capital too so I guess there's consolation in knowing there's someone else who's feeling the same thing half an ocean away :) With Adrian's departure, does that mean the Brotherhood of Auckland no longer exist? Where am I gonna turn to for advice on dealing with moody chics from now on? Traitor indeed! :P

Good luck with Peter this time round! Takes a lot of courage for two people to get back together and the relationship is usually better off for it ^_^

I miss you all as well - I even miss the dodgy Auckland weather, at least it was MILD... 30+ degrees on the weekend here!

I'm on client site for my current project, so that means no outside access at all - not even internet!

The brotherhood never dies Bobby, just remember to wait it out... :P
